Big
Louie
was
without a doubt one of the best english lops I've ever
seen. I purchased him from the Nippers in 2002 along
with 3 does. He took Reserve Best in Show at his very
first show at just 3 months of age! Louie went on
to win countless Best of Breeds, a couple of Best
in Shows and 21 GC legs. He also took home the BOSV
title in the youth show at the 2004 Lop Nationals...what
an honor that was! Louie proved himself to be a nearly unbeatable bunny! In 2003, Louie was awarded a
"Top Lop" spot (#8 I believe) in the LRCA Top Lops for
that year. Big Louie was a bit picky when it came to
reproducing, so I was only able to get a small handful
of litters from this big handsome boy. His offspring
definitely held their own on the show tables and took
home a few Best in Shows themselves! It puts a big smile
on my face when I come across a rabbit with Big Louie in
the pedigree. Louie was my favorite rabbit. He was such
a sweet heart and an absolutely beautiful rabbit. He
passed away in 2005, but this handsome fella will never
be forgotten. :o)
